Transitional Home in Firerock Furniture Design
This absolutely stunning residence in Firerock was in need of a complete furniture makeover. The new homeowners came to Katherine Mueller Design for help with furniture design. One of the absolute stunning standout pieces is the masterful dining room table. This table was designed by CeTerra Accents and Interiors and custom made. From each angle it is brilliant and inviting. You will notice a steel base finished in chrome with a live edge slab of parrot wood connected through gorgeous butterflies.
The table and furniture design does not end there. Katherine Mueller Design hand-picked luxurious t-back chairs cloaked in soft neutral fabric. A sense of sophistication is brought forth. To top off the room, a sparkling chandelier under a stainless steel drops multiple glass orbs above the table to accommodate the detailed tray ceiling.
The same residence boasts a beautiful master bedroom fit for a king and queen. The approach was to simulate a boutique hotel experience. The furniture design is stately with ebony finishes and contrasted by glowing white bedding. The black leather chairs with matching ottomans make the fireplace inviting for an evening drink to relax. These rooms will bring plenty of calm, tranquility and timelessness to this home.
Contemporary in Concrete Furniture Design
This contemporary home was inspired by the nearby mountains to bring forth gentle strength with rugged finishes. The furniture design is modern, yet functional. The owners reached out to Katherine Mueller Design asking for a warm and inviting space with respect to the integrity of the architecture.
The interior furnishings were spot on with large area rugs containing distinctive colors and patterns. As for the furniture design, you will notice unique light fixtures, especially in the dining area that add visual interest and depth. Additionally, the patterned chairs bring warmth and character to the room.
With regard to the living room, a curved sectional was the choice seating arrangement as it complimented the arched windows in the room. You will notice the distinct pattern of the two cowhide chairs wrapped around modern steel frames. This furniture design was to bring a new twist to the ‘Old West’ of the desert. The room is topped off with an organic wall decor piece of vine wood that brings movement and dimension to the room.
The master bedroom also has noticeable furniture design concepts. The headboard in particular is a custom piece made from linen that holds two floating nightstands and flexible bedside lamps.
Danville Remodel
Even before the purchase was official, this client was sure to use Katherine Mueller Design for furniture design and to conceive the perfect sanctuary. The entire project included construction of living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen.
The dining room boasts beautiful light and colorful wall decor. What also makes it stand out is the large custom dining room table that sits right next to the Caesarstone waterfall edge. Hanging above the space is a unique lighting arrangement of multiple orbs.
The space then wraps into custom banco seating built right into the bay window alcove. It is inviting for a morning cup of coffee or bringing guests together at dinner time. The alcove is finished off with two extra chairs for ample seating. The surrounding windows make this the perfect space to enjoy great outdoor scenery.
Biltmore Villa
Bringing a refresh to this Biltmore Villa was no simple task. The owners requested that Katherine Mueller Design entine contemporary comforts while preserving the architectural magnitude of the space. To achieve this furniture design concept, Katherine Mueller Design chose new furnishings to merge with the historical appreciation of the home.
One way this was accomplished was by using furniture design like the leather sofa, area rug and drapery to bring forth luxury and warmth. The space is inviting and clever as a television was hung from an existing wall while not taking away from the striking fireplace and wall decor. The room is filled with varying hues of beige, blues and grays that can be found in other textiles, accents and furnishings. The essence of the Arizona Biltmore Resort can be appreciated through this furniture design concept.
