The primary goal of this remodel was to modernize the kitchen and living spaces, which was accomplished beyond expectation. For the kitchen, a new space plan was implemented to reduce clutter, as well as a refined cabinet layout. The cabinets themselves were constructed from flat paneled wenge wood with flat panel white painted upper units. White quartz countertops with shimmering elements were installed on all work surfaces, including waterfall edges on the island. The tile backsplash is gloss and matte glass, with a custom glass wave panel added to the island. This piece was crafted by a local artisan for both functional and aesthetic purposes, separating food prep areas from the dining space. The built-in buffet was finished with floating glass shelves for displaying homeowners collected pieces. To finish it off, the wall treatment is glimmering ceramic in cool tones of teal, gray and cream unite this exciting color palette.

Additionally, in the living room, custom wenge wood and glass were implemented to feature the homeowner’s treasures and antiquities in a unique gallery-like display.
