Our Desert Modern Minimalist project celebrates the harmony between contemporary living and the timeless character of Arizona’s architectural roots. Set within an original adobe-style home, our goal was to preserve the unique regional charm while transforming the interiors into a sleek, highly functional minimalist space tailored to our client’s refined taste.
In the kitchen, we reimagined a dated 1990s layout by introducing an all-new material palette that enhances form and function. We selected stunning Monte Blanco quartzite countertops for their durability and subtle movement, creating a sophisticated foundation for daily living. The centerpiece of the kitchen is its Servo Drive cabinetry, a premium, handle-free system designed to lift and open with a gentle touch. This innovative cabinetry solution provides seamless access and supports the minimalist aesthetic by eliminating hardware and visual clutter. Each cabinet was customized to fit specific items, ensuring every square inch serves a purpose.
In the primary bedroom, we redesigned the fireplace to echo the home’s streamlined aesthetic, cladding it in matte black linear tile for a bold yet understated focal point that adds warmth and contrast to the serene space.
The primary bathroom was transformed into a serene luxury retreat. We added heated flooring for elevated comfort and designed a spa-like setting with a modern walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. A custom double vanity with two framed mirrors adds symmetry and sophistication, while integrated niche lighting offers a soft, ambient glow — reinforcing the clean, high-end aesthetic our client envisioned.
Throughout the home, the design honors Arizona architecture, intentional material selection, and clean architectural lines. Resulting in a space that feels both grounded in the desert and elevated in design.
