Working with a custom builder, the clients wished for a contemporary home with the warmth of the more traditional homes they were accustomed to. Soft fabrics, warm materials, and clean lines work together throughout the home to create the perfect transitional space. The neutral material selections are paired with a warm, tonal fabric palette, infused with the owners’ favored steel blues. The layout of the home is truly made for entertaining and outdoor living. The kitchen, living, and dining areas on the interior connect with the same spaces on the exterior. Expansive sliding glass doors collapse into the walls while the windows at the bar open to fully appreciate the outdoor lifestyle. The exterior living space is designed to highlight the incredible views, with spaces to enjoy a fire, a meal, and poolside lounging. Returning indoors, the owners can escape to their master suite, where they can cozy up in front of the stone-clad fireplace. The master bath has separate His and Her vanities to allow for plenty of space to get ready, while the large walk-in shower is open to create a spa-like feeling. Guests are able to retreat to their own spaces, each with an ensuite bath in warm, inviting tones. A gallery filled with custom artwork can be seen from the central courtyard and the main areas to add color and texture throughout. The dining room features a custom table and upholstered chairs in a contemporary fabric, while the attached wine room makes entertaining a breeze.
