For this Sedona Remodel, the goal was to enhance the home’s original adobe charm while introducing luxurious, modern elements. The existing adobe exterior was carefully preserved, maintaining its iconic thick walls and textured finish. Inside, the classic Salcito floors were refinished, bringing out their natural warmth and character.
The interior spaces were transformed with high-end materials and a sophisticated aesthetic. In the kitchen, the original layout featured an awkward peninsula that disrupted flow and made the space feel small and crowded. This was removed and replaced with a spacious island, creating an open and inviting atmosphere. New cabinetry in a warm tone was paired with sleek countertops, blending modern luxury with the home’s rustic heritage. Modern appliances and a carefully designed lighting scheme enhanced the kitchen’s functionality and style.
Lighting was an essential update. Contemporary fixtures were added throughout, casting a soft, elegant glow and enhancing the ambiance. In the main living areas, carefully chosen furnishings balanced modern design with comfort, ensuring that each space felt both stylish and welcoming. Custom window treatments framed the scenic Sedona views, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the stunning outdoor landscape.
The primary bathroom was another area where we changed the interior layout and opened it up to be more inviting. Elegant fixtures, sleek vanities, and natural accents elevated this space, making it feel like a luxurious retreat. A freestanding tub became a centerpiece, accompanied by a stunning focal point chandelier that added a touch of luxury. A spacious walk-in shower with glass panels and beautiful tiles maintained the blend of adobe style while offering all the comfort of modern design.
Throughout the home, a careful balance was struck between preserving the timeless character of adobe architecture and incorporating contemporary elements. The result is a stunning transformation that celebrates the best of both worlds, historic charm and modern elegance.
