The project was a complete redesign of the kitchen in order to better accommodate the homeowner, who was a chef. Gray painted cabinetry was installed along with granite countertops, incorporating unique storage for dedicated chef utensils. A custom island was designed and constructed, with work surfaces 2 inches higher than the rest specifically for pasta preparation and serving. In addition, a custom coffee bar was implemented on one of the preexisting countertops, and raised for easier use.
In the living room, the fireplace was refreshed, now featuring a custom wooden mantle, complemented by textured tile.
