The Studio at CeTerra Accents & Interiors was contacted by the homeowners upon purchasing this beautiful residence in Firerock to procure all new furnishings. The plan for the dining room was inspired by a custom built dining table designed by CeTerra Accents & Interiors’ Owner and Principle Designer, Katherine Mueller. This masterful table blended a steel base finished in chrome with a live edge slab of parrot wood adjoined by wood butterflies to create an absolutely stunning combination. Luxurious t-back chairs wrapped in a soft neutral fabric were added to provide a sophisticated option for seating. The dining room was further enhanced by a one-of-a-kind dazzling chandelier utilizing a stainless steel canopy and multiple cascading glass orbs to highlight the architectural details of the tray ceiling. This extraordinary space was completed by the addition of a hand-knotted Tibetan floor covering comprised of a lively pattern and rich color which surrounds the room in warmth, and connects beautifully with the dramatic art installation.
The master bedroom was created to replicate a boutique hotel experience with stately furnishings in an ebony finish contrasted by fresh white bedding. Iconic black leather chairs and coordinating ottomans were selected to flank the fireplace, and offer a cozy area for reading and conversation. An opulent rug in hues of silver was added to soften the room while a striking canvas employs color and interest. In the main guestroom, an inviting bed was crafted from repurposed teak and complemented with charcoal bedding and a sisal rug to form a restful retreat.
The entertaining spaces such as the TV area, pool table, built-in bar and kitchen in the downstairs were arranged by activity, and unified with the use of color, shape, and natural materials. An open and airy quality was achieved by the placement of a game table which combines a sleek glass top and elliptical bands of metal. This composition was repeated in the curved back of the game chairs as well as the leather sectional in the adjacent area. Festive accessories and textiles including the Carnivale Tibetan rug, and exciting artwork formulate the perfect environment for hours of family fun.
